The Reach and Teach Peace Tree was designed to ask and hopefully answer the question: “Can a holiday decoration change the world?” It responds to folks tweeting about peace using the hashtag #peace. An Internet connected string of lights change colors and become more active as people become more active in their tweets about peace. Although it is called a “Peace Tree”, you can put the lights up anywhere you want to be inspired and feel hopeful for a better world. One special feature is that tweets with the hashtag #peacetree cause any Peace Tree to twinkle.
